How to know if a guy/girl may/may not like you?
Yeah, this is what you (us?) teenagers like, stuffs about
love, relationship and other matters of the heart. Well,
that’s normal; we are at the stage where the attraction to
the opposite sex is really bursting out of us. Here are some
tips to know if a guy/ girl likes you.
First of course, you need to know if the one you like is in a
relationship. This is most probably the first thing you need
to know, nobody wants to be the third party right? Now
through observation, watch out for his/her gestures or body
language when you are around, don’t be so insensitive, if
you think that he/she is trying to avoid you, then back off!
If you don’t, that might add a turn-off factor and may
lead to an uneasy atmosphere when you two are in the same
place. You certainly don’t want that to happen.
Another is to observe the way he/she talks to you, (Well
of course, this only applies to those who are brave enough
to start up a conversation!) When a person seems to just
answer back to the questions you ask and not starting up a
new topic, he/she is either not interested to you or just shy,
so try to spice up a conversation by saying witty things,
if it still doesn’t work, its time to pack your bags, put on
your headset and have some emo moments because he/she
is not into you, at all! Last is to see if he/she looks at you
intentionally, not accidentally. Remember, hindi ka niya
makikitang nakatingin sa kanya kung hindi ka rin niya
titingnan.
Now through testing, here is a classic move in those teeny
bopper movies and telenovelas we watch. “The Hulog
Gamit” technique! Try passing by that person, drop anything,
(make sure that he/she will see it!) If he/she helps
you to pick it up or hands it out to you, he/she might like
you, I repeat, MIGHT like you. lways remember,
don’t be confused with kindness and likeness,
they are two very different things.
Ask him/her directly, don’t be a
shy puddle! You won’t know the
right answer without asking. If you
are really too shy to ask, have one of
your friends do it, and I mean friend not best friend
because your best friend might just mess it up or probably
push the person to like you back. But after all of
this, if you find out if the person you like, likes y o u
back or doesn’t, don’t be so sad about it. There
are lots of fishes in the ocean, go look for your
own, but don’t do it in a hurry, because love takes time.
